Standing Up for Our Children: A Reflection on National Children's Month 2025 As we celebrate National Children's Month this November 2025, the theme "OSAEC-CSAEM Wakasan: Kaligtasan at Karapatan ng Bata, Ipaglaban!" resonates deeply. It calls us to confront the harsh realities of online sexual abuse and exploitation of children (OSAEC) and the proliferation of Child Sexual Abuse or Exploitation Materials (CSAEM). This theme serves as a powerful reminder that protecting our children's safety and rights is not just a responsibility, but a battle that we must actively fight. The government's role in safeguarding our children is paramount. Laws and policies must be robust and effectively enforced to deter offenders and provide comprehensive support for victims. Beyond legislation, there is a need for proactive measures such as educational programs for children, parents, and educators to raise awareness about online safety and responsible digital citizenship.  The Heart of Education The 2025 Teacher’s Month Celebration, themed "My Teacher, My Hero," resonates deeply within me. It's a poignant reminder of the profound impact teachers have on shaping not just academic futures, but the very fabric of our character. They are the unsung heroes who tirelessly dedicate themselves to nurturing young minds, often going above and beyond the call of duty. This year’s theme beautifully encapsulates the admiration and gratitude we owe these pillars of our society.   Expressing gratitude to my teachers is a multifaceted endeavor. It begins with acknowledging their unwavering commitment and the sacrifices they make. Beyond the classroom, I strive to embody the values they instill – integrity, perseverance, and a thirst for knowledge. Actively listening to their guidance, participating in class, and consistently striving for excellence are all ways I demonstrate my respect for their efforts.   Moreover, I believe in the power of simple, heart...

These events bring students together, encouraging a sense of community and healthy competition among different classes or departments. They offer a break from academic pressures, allowing everyone to show their talents and passions outside the classroom. It's a time when school spirit truly shines brightly, uniting us all under one banner. Beyond the thrill of victory, intramurals are significant for personal growth and development. They teach us valuable lessons in teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship, which are needed life skills applicable far beyond the playing field. Participating helps build confidence, encourages physical activity, and provides a healthy way out for stress and energy. These shared experiences create memories and strengthening bonds among classmates and friends, making school life more fun. The experience of intra...

Our School, Our Home: Cleaning Up for a Sustainable Future Photo by: Frank Carini School, the place where we spend most of our days learning and growing. Unfortunately, sometimes our school grounds are not as clean as they should be. Scattered trash not only makes our school look untidy but can also be harmful to the environment and our health. It's time we take responsibility and make a change! Photo by: Change.org Take a look at these overflowing trash bins. The problem? Mixed waste! When we don't separate our trash properly, it becomes harder to recycle and can end up polluting our environment. Proper waste disposal is important for a sustainable future. Action in progress! We're taking the step to clean up our school grounds with gloves and masks, we're picking up every piece of trash we can find. It's hard work, but it's worth it to see our school become cleaner. Planting for the future! Planting seedlings in to promote biodiversity and create a greener s...
